Healing From The Inside Out

When one is sick, the world stands still as it is necessary to let go of the busyness and focus within to discover the source of the dis-ease. As I have been in this healing place for awhile now, I have had to let go of so many things such as work, normal daily routines, hobbies, being out in the world, and seeing friends and family. Not having the energy, stamina, or strength to do much else but rest, eat, and minimal chores.

Healing is a process that takes place from the inside out. Life as we know it gets turned upside down and we come to realize what truly nourishes and sustains us. Fears and negative thought forms must be cleared as we embrace a vision of our healthy vibrant future. How did we get to be so busy that we can barely breathe or take time to rest and just BE? I am asking myself so many questions and seeking answers from deep within my being allowing my true path forward to emerge remembering each day is a gift.

Do I have the courage to make the changes that make my soul sing? Am I really able to create the future that I want to live? YES is the answer. Do doubts and fears creep in? Yes, but my positive thoughts are stronger and have the capacity to clear the distortions in my field.

I have always envisioned a better world as it has been hard to live in this one at times. Trauma and pain from childhood carries into our adult lives and can wreak havoc if we do not take time to recognize the patterns and change them.  As we work daily to survive, live in society, remain healthy, manage the outside world, and administer our lives, we must make sacred take time for ourselves. As it is necessary to navigate the "rules" and all that is expected of us, and to jump through hoops that other people or organizations hold for us, we must at the same question and ask is there a better way and take steps in that direction.  Sometimes the steps are small, but what matters is you keep walking in the direction of self-care, self-love, and self-healing nurturing the child within.

What if we were to let all of the busyness go for a time? My illness is a gift as it is giving me time to reflect and heal and take care of myself in ways that I did not have time to do before as a single working mother of two with very little support. It seems the stress and trauma of my life have caught up with me forcing me to STOP, REFLECT, and REBIRTH.
